Aura Sanchez Garrido performs as an actress for Spanish TV and films. She has appeared on television and in movies such as Stockholm. Garrido was born in Madrid around 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father is an orchestra conductor and composer. Her mother, Pilar Sanchez paints. Her first lesson in piano was when she was four. Ballet was her first love shortly after. As a child, she was blessed with an English-speaking friend. Following the completion of her studies in high school and enrolment in the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico located in Madrid and studied interpretation through her third year and specialized in textual interpretation, but she pulled out of the program in 2010 because she was selected for the role in Planes para manana. The film was nominated for the Goya Award under the category of best emerging actor, and was awarded the Silver Biznaga award for her role.
